All of the sudden, everything falls apart; her best friend leaves her, her dad makes their family move out of the house their mom built, and the teachers at school think Cally is crazy. That's when Cally stops talking. Then she meets a blind and def boy named Sam at her new apartment. Sam and a homeless dog became Cally's new best friend, but that won't bring her Cally's back.
