Book Summary
Josie’s summer was off to a terrible start. She was in need of a break from the world of her small town so she decided it was the perfect summer to go stay with her aunt on an island in South Carolina. Even thought this island looks like a dream, there's more than one secret to be revealed. Josie goes on an adventure of love and heart break, all in hopes of getting the summer she hoped for back once more.

The book was based on an embarrassing family vacation. The author drew inspiration for a scene featuring a sea creature from an event that happened to her own family during a vacation.
