Book Summary
Kira lives in a society of death by choice. She lives in a society where people get to volunteer to die for the good of their city. Kira has a very special job, she meets with a volunteer each week and has the honor of granting them their last few wishes. That is until she receives a volunteer who asks for nothing but to spend the week with her. Kira has the choice of either not fulfilling his wish or having the ability to possibly face having a connection with someone who will be gone within a week. Kira now has a chance to truly see the society she lives in for the good or for the bad.

The author, Raena Rood, has a goal to write stories that challenge, encourage, and remind readers that even in the darkness, when all hope seems lost, God is always in control.
