I began reading books only because I had to for school. Soon after, I started reading a lot of the books I was interested in for fun!
Book Summary
The Hiding Place is a great novel about Corrie Ten Boom and her experience in WWII. The book highlights the entire Ten Boom family and the impact they made on the war from their quiet watchmaking shop. The family has a large part in the Underground, a large organization that fights to save Jews all around Europe. Until one day, they are betrayed. Amidst all of this, Corrie and her family still fight even in the hardest situations.
Favorite Part or Fun Fact
I enjoyed hearing the perspective of someone who wasn't a victim of the war, but rather someone who wanted to help.
