Hello and welcome to the Strength in Stories blog!

I’m so excited to have you here as we begin this journey together. Whether you're a young reader, a parent, or just someone who believes in the power of stories, you’re in the right place.

At Strength in Stories, our mission is to inspire a love of reading in kids and teens, especially girls, and to help them discover their own strength through the stories they read. I’m Carolina, and as part of my Girl Scout Silver Award project, I created this space to share my favorite books, reading tips, and more with all of you.

What to Expect

Each month, you’ll find fresh new content, including:

• What I’m Reading Now: each month I’ll share what I’m reading and why I love it. It’s a chance for you to hear about the books that are currently inspiring me and maybe find a new one to add to your reading list!

  
  

• Recommended Reading Lists: I’ll be sharing two themed book lists every month. One will be perfect for elementary school-aged readers, and the other will be tailored to middle and high schoolers. Each list will focus on different themes to help encourage empathy, resilience, and of course, a love of reading.

  
  

• Reading Challenges: Stay tuned for exciting book and reading challenges that will get you even more excited to pick up a book! There will be fun ways to track your reading, try new genres, and join the Strength in Stories community in a whole new way.
